Road Construction
When it comes to road construction, we conduct a site visit to assess the existing conditions, and work with you to determine the best location for the roadway. We want to ensure that the location has sufficient drainage and clearance for the vehicles that will use it. We stake out the intended path, measure and determine if any culverts or permits are required.
Land Clearing
Land clearing is required by property owners when preparing a site for construction. In clearing a construction site, you may face issues such as demolishing an existing structure, to clearing trees off land, and the removal of stumps. Once this work is completed, then you still have to deal with the removal of logs, brush and debris, and the removal of roots that remain in the soil. This type of work can be quite onerous and labour intensive, and the work needs to be done safely by an experienced contractor. We use professional machinery to get your land cleared quickly and efficiently.

Hydroseeding, Erosion & Dust Control
Late spring, summer, and through to late fall are the seasons of growth and abundance here in our Province, which can be especially true for those working on construction sites if planned correctly. Specifically, sites with stockpiles, large areas of exposure, heavy traffic, sidehill slopes or hard to reach areas can all present conditions for sediment migration. With loose soil particulates in those areas, it can be daunting to find proper and safe sediment control that retains soil in place from wind and rain exposure. But stabilizing those areas isn’t impossible when you employ hydroseeding with mulch
Septic Infrastructure
Brimstone Construction can provide you with onsite planning, septic system design, permit application and installation. Certified by Waste Water Nova Scotia as a Septic Installer and Qualified Person (QP2).
